INTERNET PRIVACY POLICY
CEI Global Internet Privacy Policy
It is CEI policy to comply with all applicable state, federal and local privacy and data protection laws. This commitment reflects CEI's goals of earning and holding the trust of its employees, customers, business partner and other who share personal information with us.
This Global Internet Privacy Policy ("Policy") is intended to protect your privacy when we collect personal information on CEI internet sites. As used in this Policy, "personal information" means any information that identifies you personally, alone or in combination with other information available to CEI.
This Policy shall apply to all internet sites operated by or on behalf of CEI and its business units.
Your Consent
By using a CEI Internet Site or providing personal information to us through such site, you are agreeing to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Policy.
If you do not consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information as described herein, please do not use CEI Internet Sites or Contact CEI or use CEI's Contact Us forms on any site.
Limitations on the Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
To the extent required by applicable laws, whenever CEI collects or makes use of personal information obtained from its websites, CEI will:
- provide timely and appropriate notice to you about its data practices;
- collect, use, disclose and transfer your personal information only with your consent, which may be express or implied, depending on the sensitivity of the information, legal requirements, or other factors;
- collect your personal information only for specific and limited purposes, and only such information as is relevant, adequate and not excessive for the purposes needed will be collected;
- process your personal information in a manner consistent with the purpose for which it was originally collected or to which you have consented;
- not use your personal information for direct marketing purposes without giving you an opportunity to "opt-out"; and,

Information Collected on CEI Internet Sites and How It May Be Used
When you access a CEI Internet Site, there are 3 ways that CEI may collect your information:
1. Information Sent to CEI from Your Web Browser
CEI may collect information that is sent to us automatically from your web browser. This information typically includes the IP address of your internet service provider, the name of your computer operating system (i.e., Macintosh® or Windows®) and the name and version of your browser (i.e., Internet Explorer® or Netscape®). The information CEI receives depends on the settings on your web browser. Such information does not identify you personally. CEI may use this information to create statistics or track data that may help CEI to improve its Internet Sites and make them more user-compatible.
2. Information Collected by Placing a "Cookie" on your Computer
CEI may collect information about you by installing a "tag," known as a "cookie," on your computer's hard drive. CEI may, at its option, use either "session cookies" or "persistent cookies."
A session cookie may be used to tag your computer with a computer-generated, unique identifier when you access a CEI site. The session cookie does not identify you personally and expires once you close your internet browser. The session cookie may be used to collect statistical data on the ways visitors use our web sites, including which pages are visited or links used, or how long the CEI site is visited. CEI may use this information to understand your interests and improve the user functionality of our web sites.
A persistent cookie may be used to assign your computer a unique identifier. Such a cookie does not expire when you close your browser and will stay on your computer until you delete them. A persistent cookie may be used to identify your previous choices and preferences, and may be saved for your use automatically in the future.
If you do not wish to receive cookies, you may set your browser to reject cookies or alert when one is placed on your hard drive. If you do not accept cookies, you may be unable to use all or part of the CEI web site.
3. Information You Knowingly and Voluntarily Provide to CEI
CEI may collect any information that you knowingly and voluntarily provide when you use a CEI Internet site, including information you provide if you sign up to receive email alerts, when you may complete a web survey, or when ask CEI a question or email CEI with feedback. In many cases, this information will include your personal information.
CEI uses such information for the purposes for which you provide it. For example, if you provide your email address when you sign up to receive email alerts, we use that information to address and deliver such alerts as you request.
CEI may also use the information that we collect on our sites for various business purposes, including customer service, fraud prevention, market research, improving CEI products and services, and providing you and your company with information and offers that we believe may interest you. We may also remove all personally identifiable information or use information for historical, statistical or scientific purposes.
Sharing Personal Information
CEI will not sell your personal information collected from its Internet sites without your permission. CEI may share your personal information with other CEI business units and such information will be used in a manner consistent with the purposes for which it was originally collected or to which you consented, and only as permitted under this Policy.
CEI may also share your personal information with third parties that we hire to perform support services for us, including but not limited to marketing, advertising or recruitment support. These third parties are required to use any personal information that we share with them solely to perform the services on CEI’s behalf and to treat your personal information as strictly confidential.
CEI may also share your personal information with third party business parties and such information will be used in the manner described above.
In certain, limited instances we may share or transfer your personal information to unrelated third parties, for instance (1) at your request; (2) to comply with a legal requirement or court order; (3) to investigate a possible crime, such as identity theft; (4) in connection with the sale, purchase, merger, reorganization, liquidation or dissolution of CEI or any CEI business unit; or (5) under similar circumstances. If such event occurs, CEI will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from broader disclosure.
Security of Personal Information
Your personal information will generally be stored in CEI databases or databases maintained by CEI service providers. To the extent that any personal information may be transferred outside the US, an appropriate notice will be provided on the CEI website.
CEI maintains reasonable safeguards to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of your personal information. Although we use security measures to help protect your personal information against unauthorized disclosure, misuse or alteration, as is the case with all computer networks connected to the Internet, CEI cannot guarantee the security of information provided over the Internet and will not be responsible for breaches of security beyond CEI’s reasonable control.
Links to Third Party Internet Sites
CEI Internet Sites may contain links to Internet sites not operated by CEI. These links are provided as a customer service to you and do not imply an endorsement of the activities or content of these sites, nor any association with their operators. CEI does not control these sites and is not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. CEI urges you to review the privacy policy, if any, posted on web sites you visit before providing any personal information or using the site.
Access to Personal Information

Retention of Personal Information
CEI retains the personal information collected on its Internet Sites as long as necessary to provide the services, products and information you may request or as permitted by applicable law.
Children and Parents
CEI Internet Sites are generally not intended for persons under age 13. CEI does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from or about children on its Internet Sites.
